Contrary to popular practice, critical thinking is still an an essential skill to possess and implement.

In a world full of hype and propaganda, critical thinking is, more oftentimes than not, the determinant between charting your own path in life and blindly going over the precipice because someone said it was the "in" thing to do. This applies to all areas of life whether professional or personal.

Part of being a visionary is thinking for yourself, exercising discernment, and going YOUR path no matter how "foolish" it may look to the Lemmings waiting their turn to walk over the precipice.
